Welcome to Future Food Movement ("Future Food Movement", "FFM", "we", "us", "our").
These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and use of our memberships, including Individual and Corporate Membership, as well as related events, content, platforms and services.”
By purchasing or using membership, attending an event, joining a community or accessing our content, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Future Food Movement is a leadership network and advisory partner working across the UK food system. We bring together leaders, organisations and experts to strengthen decision-making, capability and collaboration across commercial, sustainability, health and resilience priorities.
Future Food Movement is a trading name of Veris Sustainability Group Limited, c/o Mercer & Hole, The Pinnacle, 170 Midsummer Boulevard, Milton Keynes. MK9 1BP. Company registration number 03817642.
2. Membership Products
Future Food Movement offers Individual or Corporate membership.
Each membership type has different benefits, pricing, access levels and eligibility requirements, as described at the point of application or sale.
We may update product names, structure or benefits at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members and updated on our website.
3. Eligibility
You may purchase or use an individual membership only if:
you are at least 18 years old
you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
you are not prohibited from doing so under applicable law
If purchasing on behalf of an employer, you confirm you have authority to do so.
4. Capacity and Waiting List
Membership operates with capped places. Where places are fully allocated:
applications may be placed on a waiting list
no guarantee of a future place is implied
Future Food Movement is not obliged to offer a place at a later date
Placement on a waiting list does not constitute acceptance of membership.
5. Events and Sessions
We host in-person and virtual events including briefings, dinners, workshops, expert sessions and member gatherings.
We may reasonably change:
speakers
agenda
venue
date
format
duration
Travel and accommodation costs remain your responsibility unless agreed otherwise. Invitations to events, roundtables or sessions do not guarantee a place unless explicitly confirmed, and capacity limits apply to all in‑person events.
6. Member Conduct
We aim to create trusted, high-quality professional spaces.
You agree not to:
harass, intimidate or discriminate
disrupt events or communities
misuse confidential discussions
aggressively sell or spam members
damage our reputation through abusive behaviour
impersonate others or misrepresent your role
We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches.
7. Confidentiality / Chatham House Rule
Some sessions may be designated private, off-record or under Chatham House Rule.
Where stated:
insights may be shared without attribution
identities, organisations and direct quotes must not be disclosed without permission
You agree to respect the confidentiality of such spaces.
8. Fees and Payment
Unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing:
Fees are payable on receipt of our invoice, payment link or via our website.
Payment is due by bank transfer, credit, debit or purchasing card or direct debit (where agreed)
Membership does not commence until full payment received unless payment terms are agreed
Memberships are non-refundable once the term begins
If payment plans are agreed full payment must be made during the term of the membership
Overdue payments may lead to suspension of access.
Future Food Movement reserve the right to charge interest on any overdue amounts at 3% plus the prevailing Bank of England base rate
All prices are stated exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.
9. Membership Term and Renewal
Unless otherwise stated:
Memberships run for 12 months from the start date
Any changes in Membership cost will be communicated by Future Food Movement at least 30 days prior to the end of the term.
Membership renews automatically unless notice is given 30 days prior to the renewal date
Membership will lapse until full payment is received in accordance with Clause 8– Fees and Payment,
10. Pausing, Transfers and Cancellation
Memberships are personal to the named individual and may not be transferred without written consent.
Future Food Movement are not obliged to pause memberships for periods of inactivity, role change or parental leave, but may do so at our discretion.
For Corporate Membership, named representatives may be changed during the membership term with reasonable notice, subject to eligibility and role relevance.
11.Intellectual Property
All Future Food Movement content, frameworks, branding, materials, recordings and intellectual property are owned by Future Food Movement unless otherwise stated.
You may use materials provided to you by Future Food Movement for your own professional use only.
You may not without written permission:
resell materials
reproduce or modify materials
republish as your own
use our brand, logo or templates.
12. User Content
If you submit articles, comments, quotes, testimonials or materials, you must confirm you have the right to do so.
You grant Future Food Movement a non-exclusive licence to use, edit, publish and promote such content for membership, marketing or service delivery purposes unless otherwise agreed.
13. Data protection
Veris Sustainability Group Ltd, trading as Future Food Movement is a data controller, committed to respecting the privacy of individuals. Our privacy policy is published on our website and details how we collect and use your personal information.
Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting and safeguarding your data privacy rights.

Future Food Movement provides insight, facilitation and convening. We do not make decisions on behalf of members or their organisation
Individual membership is not:
– a consultancy engagement
– an employment or recruitment service
– a guarantee of business development or profile outcomesCorporate Membership does not constitute consultancy, legal advice or delegated decision‑making. Decisions remain the responsibility of the member organisation.
19. Limitation of Liability
General Liability: Each party shall indemnify and hold harmless the other party from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the performance of these terms, except to the extent that such claims, damages, losses, or expenses are caused by the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of the indemnified party.
Limitation of Liability: Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this agreement, in no event shall either party be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or business interruption, arising out of or related to this agreement, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Maximum Liability: The total liability of either party under this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid or payable by the other party under this agreement in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, except for liability arising from gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud.
20. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate membership where:
fees remain unpaid
these Terms are materially breached
behaviour damages the community
continued provision becomes impractical or unlawful
Termination does not remove outstanding payment obligations.
21. Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on our website or shared directly.
22. Governing Law
These terms are governed by, and is to be construed in accordance with, English law. The English Courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute which has arisen or may arise out of, or in connection with these terms.
