Welcome to Future Food Movement ("Future Food Movement", "FFM", "we", "us", "our").
These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and use of our memberships, including individual memberships (Explorer and Catalyst) and Corporate Membership, as well as related events, content, platforms and services.”
By purchasing or using an individual membership, attending an event, joining a community or accessing our content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Who We Are
Future Food Movement is a leadership network and advisory partner working across the UK food system. We bring together leaders, organisations and experts to strengthen decision-making, capability and collaboration across commercial, sustainability, health and resilience priorities.
2. Individual Membership Products
Membership Products
Future Food Movement offers the following membership types:
Explorer (individual)
Catalyst (individual)
Corporate Membership (organisational)
Each membership type has different benefits, pricing, access levels and eligibility requirements, as described at the point of application or sale.
We may update product names, structure or benefits from time to time.
3. Eligibility
You may purchase or use an individual membership only if:
You are at least 18 years old
You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
You are not prohibited from doing so under applicable law
If purchasing on behalf of an employer, you confirm you have authority to do so.
4. Membership Purpose
Individual memberships (including Explorer and Catalyst) are designed to provide personal access to insight, context and peer connection.
Individual memberships do not provide organisational decision support, consultancy services, or representation on behalf of an employer unless expressly agreed in writing.
Corporate Membership is designed to support organisational decision‑making where risk, alignment and exposure are live.
For the avoidance of doubt, individual membership is not:
A consultancy engagement
An employment or recruitment service
A guarantee of business development or profile outcomes.
5. Membership Benefits
Benefits may include:
Access to expert events
Intelligence and newsletters
Visibility through FFM channels
Selected partner offers or discounts
Priority invitations or early access
Specific benefits will be described at the point of sale. All benefits are subject to availability and may change reasonably over time.
6. Explorer Membership
Explorer is designed to help members stay informed, connected and commercially aware.
Benefits include:
Selected member communications
Insight content
Invitations to relevant sessions
Explorer does not automatically include premium events, guaranteed speaking opportunities or Catalyst-level access unless expressly stated.
Explorer Capacity and Waiting List
Explorer membership operates with capped places to ensure the experience remains high‑quality and manageable for members.
Where Explorer places are fully allocated:
Applications may be placed on a waiting list
No guarantee of a future place is implied
Future Food Movement is not obliged to offer a place at a later date
Placement on a waiting list does not constitute acceptance of membership.
7. Catalyst Membership
Catalyst is designed for members seeking deeper access, stronger peer connection and greater proximity to live leadership conversations.
Benefits may include:
Premium member access
Priority invitations
Higher-level roundtables or communities
Thought leadership opportunities
Visibility support through FFM channels
Leadership development opportunities
Catalyst benefits are subject to application review, fit, editorial discretion and programme capacity.
Acceptance into Catalyst is not guaranteed, and access to specific sessions, roundtables or communities may be limited or prioritised to preserve peer quality.

Some memberships may include opportunities such as:
Member blogs
Op-eds
Interviews
Social media features
Newsletter mentions
Event speaking consideration
Profile spotlights
These opportunities are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.
We retain sole editorial discretion over:
Whether content is published
Timing of publication
Editing for clarity, quality or consistency
Promotional channels used
Suitability for our audience
We do not guarantee:
Reach
Impressions
Enquiries
Followers
Leads
Commercial outcomes
Media coverage
8A. Corporate Membership
Corporate Membership is designed to support organisational decision‑making where risk, alignment and exposure are live.
Corporate Membership:
Is held by an organisation, not an individual
Provides access for a defined number of named representatives, depending on the tier purchased
Complements existing strategy, sustainability, commercial and leadership functions
Corporate Membership does not constitute consultancy, legal advice or delegated decision‑making. Decisions remain the responsibility of the member organisation.
Access, invitations and participation may be prioritised or limited to ensure quality, relevance and peer integrity.
9. Events and Sessions
We host in-person and virtual events including briefings, dinners, workshops, expert sessions and member gatherings.
We may reasonably change:

Agenda
Venue
Date
Format
Duration
Travel and accommodation costs remain your responsibility unless agreed otherwise. Invitations to events, roundtables or sessions do not guarantee a place unless explicitly confirmed, and capacity limits apply to all in‑person events.
10. Member Conduct
We aim to create trusted, high-quality professional spaces.
You agree not to:
Harass, intimidate or discriminate
Disrupt events or communities
Misuse confidential discussions
Aggressively sell or spam members
Damage our reputation through abusive behaviour
Impersonate others or misrepresent your role
We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated breaches.
11. Confidentiality / Chatham House Rule
Some sessions may be designated private, off-record or under Chatham House Rule.
Where stated:
Insights may be shared without attribution
Identities, organisations and direct quotes must not be disclosed without permission
You agree to respect the confidentiality of such spaces.
13. Fees and Payment
Unless otherwise stated:
Fees are payable in advance
Memberships are non-refundable once the term begins
Payment plans must be honoured in full
Overdue payments may lead to suspension of access
All prices are stated exclusive of VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.
14. Membership Term and Renewal
Unless otherwise stated:
Memberships run for 12 months
Memberships may renew automatically
Either party may give notice not to renew no later than 30 days before renewal
Renewal pricing may change with reasonable notice.
15. Pausing, Transfers and Cancellation
Memberships are personal to the named individual and may not be transferred without written consent.
We are not obliged to pause memberships for periods of inactivity, role change or parental leave, but may do so at our discretion.
For Corporate Membership, named representatives may be changed during the membership term with reasonable notice, subject to eligibility and role relevance.
16. Intellectual Property
All FFM content, frameworks, branding, materials, recordings and intellectual property remain owned by Future Food Movement or our licensors unless otherwise stated.
You may use materials for your own professional use only.
You may not without written permission:
Resell materials
Reproduce externally at scale
Republish as your own
Use our branding misleadingly
17. User Content
If you submit articles, comments, quotes, testimonials or materials, you confirm you have the right to do so.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, edit, publish and promote such content for membership, marketing or service delivery purposes unless otherwise agreed.
18. Disclaimer
Future Food Movement provides insight, facilitation and convening. We do not make decisions on behalf of members or their organisations.
They do not constitute legal, investment, financial, regulatory, recruitment or therapeutic advice.
You remain responsible for your own business and career decisions.
For Corporate Membership, Future Food Movement does not act as an agent, advisor or representative of the member organisation.
19. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to that:
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or reputation
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the previous 12 months
20. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate membership where:
Fees remain unpaid
These Terms are materially breached
Behaviour damages the community
Continued provision becomes impractical or unlawful
Termination does not remove outstanding payment obligations.
21. Changes to Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on our website or shared directly.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom and disputes shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
