The Future Food Movement Public Affairs Network
Building on the shoulders of our members, uniquely drawn from across the UK’s food system including PLCs, Family-owned, SMEs, startups, farmers, retailers and manufacturers, the Future Food Movement Public Affairs Network has been designed to create a new, unique voice within the UK’s body politic.
Striving for one outcome, our Network brings together those most willing to transform the UK’s food system for people, planet and profit.
Our members’ expertise, commitment and dedication to a sustainable, resilient, healthy and prosperous future informs and drives our work - see our diverse and inclusive membership.
The Public Affairs Network will build new bridges between food system actors, legislators, regulators and policy makers across the UK. The Network will debunk myths, demystify solutions and create a trusted home for honest, open and transparent engagement.
Opinion, connection and informed dialogue are at the core of our work. To ensure a structured and deliberative approach underpins our activities, the Future Food Movement Public Affairs Network will:
Run the Food System Influencers’ Panel - made up of Future Food Movement members and the UK's body politic, the Panel will track how opinion differs across different stakeholder groups, identifying the challenges progress faces and the opportunities collaboration generates
Host monthly Public Affairs Briefings - bringing politicians and civil servants together with Future Food Movement members on the key issues facing the food sector, building knowledge, trust and awareness
Publish a monthly update report - enriching the dialogue through short and sharp updates reporting on key Network activities, key policy announcements and shedding light on the individuals involved.
We want to build a community of the willing and determined. To join us please email Phil Eisenhart, Policy & Advocacy Lead.
